Bath Digital Festival

Bath Digital Festival is happening again this year – so get ready to join us in celebrating all things digital!

Our Girl Geeks events are part of the Bath Digital network which includes many different groups (like ours) that have a digital theme. All of these groups are open to everyone, so check them out on the Bath Digital website and feel free to sign up for their events.

While these groups run events throughout the year, the Digital Festival is a great opportunity for us to all get together and ‘show off’ all of the fantastic digital activity happening across the city. During the Festival you can expect to see events run by all of the Bath Digital groups as well as lots of interesting one-off sessions.

We’re really looking forward to being a part of the Festival and seeing Girl Geek members at events throughout it!

Great Christmas quiz for Bath’s girl geeks!

We had a fantastic time at the Christmas quiz, as the photo below will prove! A huge thank you must go to our fantastic sponsors Deep Blue SkyBath Spa University and Coworking Bath.

We were asked to share the quiz questions with you – so you can see them here. We’ve separated the answers (so you can play again if you want to) so see the answers here.

We’ll add all the other photos to our Facebook page too, so feel free to tag yourselves.

And if you’d like to get involved in Bath Digital Festival contact Katrina James to volunteer.

In the meantime, have a fantastic Christmas and new year!

event, and impressed judges by making exceptional progress with their business plan over the course of the weekend.

Greenage is an online up-cycling marketplace, which aims to become the go-to place for up-cycling, the use of materials which would otherwise be sent to landfill to create new produces of a higher value.

Jade is co-founder of Greenage, and a digital marketer by profession. She secured the provisional agreement of a supplier of wooden parts, and of two producers of up-cycled products, and also played a central role in the digital marketing strategy of the company.
