+++ Noter, there has been a CHANGE OF VENUE – we are now at Spaces in the centre of Bath +++

Hello there fellow earthling –

Summer is over (What!) and let’s kick off this new school year with a special event hosted with support of Bath Spa University’s Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries and the South West Creative Technology Network, thanks Kate Pullinger and Rachel Pownall.

Our first speaker will be Coral Manton who is planning on talking about Women in Tech focusing on live coding, games development and Women in AI.

Our second speaker will be myself talking to you about Getting Ethical with AI. How can we add ethical considerations into those processes and why I believe that the Finance Industry would be a perfect guinea pig for adding policies.

There will be drinks and nibbles and I am looking forward to seeing you all after this long hiatus.

Note, SPACES has no reception after 6pm, so if you are running late, please let me know and we will ensure you get in. The meetup will be on the 2nd Floor – just follow the Buzz.

BGGD Reloaded #6 – Success and Failures

Hannah Sweet Pic

***Please note: The venue is Rocketmakers, so please arrive before 6pm otherwise you will not be able to get into the building***

Hello there fellow earthling –

Tuesday the 19th March we will meet at the Rocketmakers offices in Bath where Hannah (Rocketmakers) will talk to us about what she learned from working with different startups. How are some doing better than others? Why might one fail while another succeeds? Are there commonalities and if so, what are they?
This will be a great interactive session where we can share our experiences and learn from one another.
